How we rate online casinos: ChesneKazinoUA.com methodology
Every review on ChesneKazinoUA.com is prepared by the same rules. Below is what we check, how we score and what a score does not mean. Reviews are written and updated by Jewgienij Ja.
First: the Ukrainian licence
In Ukraine, online casinos, bookmakers and poker rooms may operate legally only under a licence from the state regulator (formerly KRAIL, PlayCity since 2025). That is why every review states at the very top whether the operator holds a valid Ukrainian licence and appears in the state register of licensees. This information is shown regardless of the score and cannot be outweighed by any other advantage of the service.
What we check
- Operator and transparency. Who runs the service, licence number and term, registered address, whether the rules are available and clear.
- Payments. Deposits and withdrawals in hryvnia, Ukrainian bank cards, minimum amounts, limits, processing times, fees and verification requirements (BankID, Diia).
- Bonuses. Not the size of a bonus but its terms: wagering, maximum bet, bonus win cap, expiry, excluded games and payment methods.
- Games and providers. Game selection, well-known studios, demo mode.
- Support and languages. Contact channels, opening hours, Ukrainian language support, quality of answers.
- Risk signals. Player complaints about withheld payouts, frequent domain changes, unclear account closure rules.
- Responsible gambling tools. Deposit and time limits, cool-off, self-restriction.
Rating scale
The expert score uses a 0 to 10 scale. It covers all the criteria above, with the most weight given to payments (whether payouts are real and on time) and transparency of the rules. The score describes the quality of the service as a product and is not a recommendation to play with an operator that has no Ukrainian licence.
A reader rating may be shown next to the expert score. It is a separate figure — the average of user votes — and is never mixed with the expert score.

Updates
