Gift of Midas — slot review and demo

Mythological theme and golden symbols in Gift of Midas

The slot takes you into the legend of King Midas — the ruler who received the gift of turning everything into gold. On five reels with three rows and ten fixed paylines you'll find an open chest (top symbol, pays 500× for five on a payline), a golden chalice (200× for a combination), and the Golden Temple — a Wild that substitutes for other symbols and awards 500× the total bet for a full line. A special mechanic feature is the Token symbols, which cover other icons and when they fly off the reels, reveal the symbols beneath, forming new winning combinations.

Three types of free spins and bonus buy

Gift of Midas offers three coloured free spins modes — each with its own activation conditions and set of features. Besides standard triggering, players can use the Bonus Pop Buy feature: when the corresponding opportunity appears on screen, you can instantly buy entry into the bonus round. After any win, a classic gamble game opens — if your card beats the dealer's card, the amount doubles, and this can continue up to ten times in a row.

96.06% RTP and bet range for high volatility

Return to player is 96.06%, and high volatility means rare but substantial wins. The bet range is from 0.1 to 40 in casino currency. The slot is approved by MGA and German regulators, available on mobile devices and desktop. Before playing for money, check the paytable at your specific operator — sometimes RTP can vary depending on the version.

Demo mode without registration on the slot page

You can try Gift of Midas for free right above this review — the 'Play Demo' button launches the game with virtual credits without registration or deposit. In Ukraine, demo versions are available to everyone, but real money bets are only legal in casinos with a PlayCity licence and from age 21. You can compare platforms with different slots in the online casino rating, and other games by the studio in the Endorphina slots catalogue.
