Merge Up — slot review and demo

Merging mechanics and features of Merge Up

The slot is based on a cluster combination system: 4 or more matching symbols adjacent to each other form a win. After the payout, some symbols disappear and the rest transform into symbols of the next level. There are 9 levels of main symbols in the game plus a scatter as the tenth.

When level 8 symbols form a cluster, a bomb appears. It explodes, removing 8 symbols around it, increasing the multipliers in their cells by 1 level and turning into a scatter. Three or more scatters trigger 12 to 30 free spins depending on their number.

Cell multipliers and bonus buy

Cells where a win has formed are marked and receive an x2 multiplier. When a new win occurs in the same cell, the multiplier doubles — up to a maximum of x128. During the free spins round, the marking is retained until the end of the feature, increasing the potential.

The slot offers three bonus round purchase options: standard free spins, free spins with an initial x2 multiplier in each cell, and a variant with 3–9 bombs on the reels that create multipliers before the round starts. The Chance x2 option increases the bet and the probability of entering the bonus naturally.

RTP, volatility and bet range

The slot's RTP is 97.25% — above the industry average. Volatility is high, meaning rare but large payouts. The bet ranges from 0.2 to 50 per spin, with a maximum win of x10,000 the bet.

You can compare playing conditions at different casinos in the online casino rating. Other games by the studio are collected in the BGaming slots section.
